The unmet requirements for Nigeria’s Humanitarian Response Plan reveal that the United Nations has not been able to meet 100% of its requirements between 2016 and 2024. This data shows the gap between the UN humanitarian goal for Nigeria and the amount generated for this purpose. Despite improved funding in some years, unmet needs were highest at $736M in 2023, leaving 56% of aid requirements unfulfilled. In addition, 2016 recorded the lowest amount of unmet aid for Nigeria's humanitarian support.
