Nigeria emerges as a leading African producer, generating 7.3 million tonnes to secure the fourth spot globally. Latin American nations like Ecuador, Brazil, and Guatemala remain key players, while African countries such as Angola and Tanzania highlight the continent’s growing role in global banana production. The total output from the top 10 countries exceeds 97 million tonnes, underscoring the crop's global agricultural and economic significance.
