TikTok’s global user base is heavily concentrated in Asia and the Americas, which together account for over 1.14 billion active users as of January 2025. Asia leads by a wide margin with 631.8 million users, representing nearly 40% of all active TikTok users globally. America follows with 505 million users, or 31.7% of the global share. These two regions alone make up more than 7 out of every 10 TikTok users in the world.

Europe, with 258 million users (16.2%), stands as the third-largest TikTok region, while Africa, despite its youthful population, accounts for just 11.9% with 189.3 million users. Oceania trails with only 10 million users, making up less than 1% of the global share.
