The Women’s 100m Hurdles at the Diamond League has been largely dominated by the United States, with American athletes claiming half of the titles between 2010 and 2024. Dawn Harper-Nelson spearheaded that run, winning five titles in six years (2012–2016). Other American champions include Danielle Carruthers (2011) and Brianna McNeal (2018).
But a shift occurred in the 2020s. Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan emerged as a global force, securing three consecutive Diamond League titles from 2021 to 2023, becoming Africa’s most successful hurdler in the competition’s history. Other single-title winners since 2010 include Priscilla Lopes-Schliep (Canada, 2010), Sally Pearson (Australia, 2017), Danielle Williams (Jamaica, 2019) and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (Puerto Rico, 2024).
