In Asia, 326.8 million individuals are holding crypto assets. This is over four times the number in North America (72.2 million) and almost eight times more than Africa’s 43.5 million.
Interestingly, South America and Oceania stand out for their explosive growth rates, with South America at 116.5% and Oceania closely behind at 114.3%. Africa, on the other hand, experienced the slowest growth rate at just 8.5%. This could be attributed to regulatory challenges, limited internet penetration, and economic barriers. However, with over 43.5 million crypto owners, the continent remains a key player in the global crypto ecosystem.
