The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy was allocated ₦71.7 billion from Nigeria’s 2025 budget. The National Commission for Museums and Monuments received the highest allocation (₦15 billion).
In comparison, the National Gallery of Arts (₦10.1 billion) and the Nigerian Film Corporation (₦8.4 billion) — both central to visual and cinematic storytelling that define Nigeria’s creative exports — followed to round up the top three allocations.
