NELFUND disbursed over ₦5 billion in tuition loans, with Bayero University in Kano receiving 17% of the total
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), established by the Federal Government of Nigeria, has disbursed over ₦5 billion in tuition payments to 58 universities, with Bayero University, Kano State, receiving ₦834 million.

If this trend continues, millions of children will struggle to access quality primary education, reinforcing cycles of poverty and limited economic mobility.
