The June 2025 metering data shows a system split sharply between high-performing and lagging DisCos. Ikeja (84.6%) and Eko (83.3%) remain the closest to full metering, while Abuja ( 73.1%) follows. Outside these three, metering drops quickly, with only Port Harcourt achieving above 60%. This highlights a persistent structural divide across the sector.
In contrast, eight DisCos, led by Yola (71.6%), Jos (70.6%), Kaduna (66.5%), and Kano (65.7%), still have a majority-unmetered customer base. This imbalance suggests that large portions of customers nationwide still lack consumption visibility, affecting billing accuracy, grid planning, and revenue assurance.
