Access Holdings delivered a broad-based profit across all its operating countries in H1 2025, a clear turnaround from H1 2024 when three subsidiaries were still in the red.
Profit Before Tax in Nigeria eased year on year, but growth across other markets helped balance the group, with particularly strong rebounds in Zambia, Sierra Leone, the DRC, Cameroon, and Kenya as those units moved from losses or low earnings to solid positive contributions. The UK business also remained a major profit centre. This suggests that Access Holdings’ push to build a diversified African and international bank is beginning to pay off, reducing reliance on the Nigerian market and showing that its regional strategy is adding real earnings strength.
